About the mission

What is Health Mastery Hub?
A non-profit health mission. We curate the foundations of long-term health — sleep, water, food, movement, stress, supplementation, and toxin exposure — in one place, for free, with the products we actually trust.
Why is this a non-profit?
Because in health, the seller and the advice are almost never separable. We structured it this way so the foundations stay free and the recommendations stay honest, regardless of what we eventually sell.
What does "free" actually mean here?
The seven Foundations modules, the Health Assessment, and the newsletter are free, forever. We earn income from affiliate links (clearly disclosed), optional membership tiers, and — eventually — in-house supplements through a structure that keeps margins from biasing the content. Free is the floor.
How is this different from a biohacker app or a wellness platform?
Most of those are built for people who are already deep in optimization. We're built for everyone. Foundations first, depth on top, no cult.

About the content

Who writes this?
Nathan Shortridge leads the content — a naturopathic practitioner with 15+ years in foundational and advanced protocols. Clinical reviewers and contributors are being added as we grow.
What's the philosophy?
Naturopathic-first, never anti-medical. Try the foundations before the prescription. Talk to a real clinician when the foundations aren't enough. Borrow from everywhere; belong to no school.
I'm doing carnivore / keto / vegan / fasting / something else. Is this for me?
Yes. We don't run on a single diet philosophy. The foundations work alongside almost any reasonable framework you've already chosen.
I already do all this. Is there anything for me?
The free Foundations are the floor. The Advanced Optimizations module — including peptide protocols, mitochondrial work, and advanced labs — is coming with the app. Newsletter subscribers get first access.

About how we make money

How do you make money?
Three ways, today: affiliate income on products we recommend (with disclosure), eventual optional membership tiers, and sponsored content that has to align with the mission. In the future: in-house supplements, structured to route margin back to the mission.
Doesn't affiliate income bias your recommendations?
It can — which is why every recommendation goes through Nathan first, regardless of whether there's a link. If a product has no affiliate program and it's still the best option, we link to it. If a product has a generous affiliate program and isn't the best option, we don't.
Will you have a paid tier?
Likely yes — a Members tier with advanced modules, AI coaching, and lab pricing. The Foundations stay free regardless.

About Nathan

Is Nathan a doctor?
Nathan is a naturopathic practitioner — not an MD. The content on Health Mastery Hub is educational, not medical advice. The eventual telehealth integration brings licensed clinicians into the loop for anything that needs one.
Why naturopathic-first?
Because most chronic, lifestyle-related issues respond to foundational interventions before they need medication. We don't hide that some things need a prescription. We just don't lead with one.

About the upcoming app

When does the app launch?
This year. Newsletter subscribers get first access.
What does it cost?
The Foundations stay free in the app. AI coaching, advanced modules, telehealth, and integrated supplements are paid layers. Final pricing will be published before launch.
Will my data be private?
Yes. The app is being built HIPAA-compliant from day one for any feature that touches medical data. We don't sell or share user data, ever.

About participating

Can I contribute?
Probably yes. We're building out clinical reviewers, content contributors, advisors, and a small operations team. Reach out via Contact.
Can I donate?
Once the entity is formally registered, yes. For now, the most useful contribution is using the site, sharing what works, and joining the newsletter so we know who we're building for.
How do I reach you?
Via the Contact page. For most things, expect a response within 3-5 business days.
